Tina McKay is the Co-Owner of McKay Mortgage and a 40-year veteran of the mortgage industry. Her career spans decades of leadership in operations, having overseen large regional underwriting centers and built a reputation for excellence, precision, and problem-solving under pressure. That deep operational expertise is the engine behind McKay Mortgage’s consistency, reliability, and client-first approach.
Before co-founding McKay Mortgage, Tina served as President of the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers and remains one of the most respected figures in the industry. She’s known not just for her technical skill, but for her integrity, mentorship, and the steady presence she brings to every part of the business.
She also happens to be the person who taught her son and business partner, Brendan McKay, everything he knows. Together, they’ve built McKay Mortgage into one of the top brokerages in the country—grounded in the values Tina has championed throughout her career: experience, education, and doing the right thing for the client every time.
